5 months today

Five months today I started with Slimming World with an aim to lose 4 stone by April 2010, In aide of Cancer Research UK.

To date I have lost 2 stone 11Ibs & the sponsors are starting to come in.

Had a really good day …

yesterday… did a photo shoot with young new band called the JANICE GRAHAM BAND, we just hung around the backstreets taking pix, some parts of Manchester can look like New york, what it’s true..lol

After the shoot had ended I went to the Odd bar to have my favourite lunch, which these days is Chicken, Rocket Leaf Salad and Beetroot (another new fave). Loads of people I knew came in by coincidence. Some I hadn’t seen for a while – so you can imagine of course I was pleased when they saw my weight loss.  :)

Get weighed again tonight , I’m pretty confidante that I’m closer to the 3 stone mark. Had to get new jeans this week the others are just way toooo big…

4 inch heals & the photo-shoot

Mrs Jones suggested that I practice walking in 4 inch heals, so she sent me home with the shoes I’ll be wearing for the shoot.  How do they make feel!!  …   like a giraffe but only a 6ft one.

Well then what a week it’s been …

I went to London this week to meet Jill (our photographer for this project), Hadn’t seen her since just before the diet started. She was pleasantly surprised…

We talked about the photo-shoot , where when etc,we know it’s just going to be great. we then went to see Fee Doran (aka Mrs Jones) think Kylie’s white Hoody, well she has sorted me out some shoes for the shoot since that’s mostly what I’ll be wearing…. they look fabulous I’ve never word 4 inch heels before.. hope I don’t fall over.. that’d be  a picture wouldn’t it The photo-shoot will take place in London sometime in May.

This weeks weight loss: 1 Ibs off totalling 2 stone 11 Ibs.

an average weekday menue

I’m hoping to meet 2 stone and 12 Ibs..

I’ve concentrated on speed foods this week. eating out certainly has its challenges., but the Odd Bar in Manchester’s Northern Quarter have been kind enough to make me a chicken, rocket leaf, tomato and beetroot salad.. it’s so good that they are now going top put it on their specials board..

How cool is that I hope they name it after me.. do you think they will?

but when your happy with your body then the sun feels so much better..

I planted my first spuds ever today…

My wardrobe is almost empty..

When someone hasn’t seen me for a while, or rather when they haven’t seen me since I started my weight loss plan on the 22nd october 2009.

It feels fantastic when they almost don’t recognise you.. it’s easy for me to get used to the continuing weight loss.. but hey  it’s working and thats just great.

My wardrobe is a shadow of it’s former self now.. it holds almost no clothes, no point in keeping them i there I don’t ever plan to get back in them.. x
